Course acknowledgements
I wrote this webquest in 2005. I was inspired to write a webquest about travel to China because, at the time, my son and his girlfriend were living and working in China. The stories of their rich experiences sparked my interest in the country, its history, culture and people. I was also looking for a way to engage my Year 7 students with online learning.
The course was initially written into a LMS and gradually evolved and developed over time. It was written after I researched the work of Bernie Dodge and Tom March, who were the developers of the original webquest model.
This is the website I always intended to create for this webquest.
